Just a Little About Me

                                           

  I was born in California but my family moved to Kauai after my 8th grade year, so I had the opportunity to attend high school & college in paradise! I am the mother to 6 very wonderful kids. My children have all come with different personalities & different strengths. It amazes me that even my twins who shared the same womb and have been in the same learning environment learn so differently.This has taught me that each child has their own strengths and that no two children can be compared to each other.

I have always loved teaching. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing their little eyes light up when they all of a sudden "get it". I will work with your child at his (or her) own level & go at their pace. Thank you for letting me have the opportunity to work with your little ones. 

 Your kids will learn basic Pre-K skills: ABC's, sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, days of week, simple math, and writing their letters & names! Some will hopefully be reading simple words before Kindergarten starts! We will have different weekly themes where the children will learn life science skills so they can learn about the world around them. They will also learn basic hygiene/health/safety & sharing while having fun!
